Aristotle's Ethics in the Middle Ages

Aristotle was an ancient greek guy, student of plato. His ethics were central for the re thought of the middle ages. To be happy is to be virtuous - and a virtuous person is somebody who does virtuous things. The waythat you learn how to do virtuous things is you are taught them,. or you practise them over and over again. Being virtuous is a measured, rational approach to the world. It's about being not too excessive with no defect its basic idea. So keep in mind that these were notes that were edited by other people.
