The Importance of Freedom in Relationships
The book is about Ted Kirosode and his dog Merle, who live together in Wyoming. When he lives in a small town where most dogs roam freely, He decides to give Merle more space. And what he describes is that more freedom on the side of the dog actually enriches their relationship. It's a good illustration of how we can work towards more freedom for other animals,. In a way that is doable and also somehow responsible.
