The rule of thumb has always been only mention race if it's relevant to the story. But today, there's more diversity on screen so it makes sense that audio descriptions should accurately reflect that. I don't want to hear something like- The car's going fast down the road because the engine clearly tells me it is. Are they being chased? Like, just walk me through it like a dance.
