Are You Looking for a Sports Cardiologist or General Practitioner?

The average recreational athlete may not need screening at all. If you're over the age of 35 and looking to have your risk factors checked, the best place to start is at your GP - they'll refer you on possibly to a cardiologist if you've got any further concerns. But if you do get to a point where you've got something that looks a bit tricky or you're lucky enough to have access on knowledge of a sports cardiologist, they are a very, very useful resource if you need it.
