It's not at all uncommon for women in the latter stages of perimenopause and early menopause years to put on five 10 15 20 pounds. If you are a fitness competitor or an athlete, you're probably going to be a bit on the leaner side but I would say most people if they've got a fairly healthy lifestyle should be within that range.
