The Importance of Responsibility
LZ Granderson: Is it our responsibility just to do the practices that that create the stillness to allow the voice to emerge from the outside? He says if we're accountable to the truth, then that really has to be our ultimate criterion for deciding these questions. LZ: Just because a practice for weathering suffering helps get us through, it doesn't make it good. And there's so much in our culture that suggests to us that visions of the good life or answers to life's fundamental questions are like orders in a restaurant and something like that.
