I Think the Ability to Demonstrate Effort Is a Genetic Inheritance
M: I find it hard to imagine a society in which we all assume that thing is just predetermined, your effort is predetermined. Could not the ability to demonstrate effort, to exert effort itself, be a genetic inheritance? M: i am very much on the nurture side for a thousand reasons. But i also think it's one of these interminable debates that has the property that people are very hard to shift off of priors.
