The Dark Woods
Many students, they go through undergrad never having an inkling what research is really about. They're so busy as undergrad to take courses. I think we also need to do a better job at us being comfortable telling people about our own fears and mistakes. The Japanese have this proverb that goes like this: "Stand up seven times, fall down eight." And if you want to achieve something meaningful in the lab, it's totally fine to fail.
