The Future of Communication
There are so many hypotheticals here because to even have the possibility of recognizing that it's a kind of a thing like us as opposed to you know oh that was an interstellar rock we say it's an interstellar rock to somebody else they say look there are all these complicated uh electronic processes going on inside the rock. We're not yet in a position to do that maybe we will be fairly soon but we're not yet um and that would make it something where I might be more convinced that the more advanced version of something like us would have a an easier time communicating with us. But again it leaves one with the question of what would happen in today's world if that hypothetical came
