The Problem With Offshore Financial Services in the UK
Since the 1950s, Britain has essentially profited from allowing wealthy citizens of other countries to evade their own country's regulations and taxes. There seems to have been a witting or unwitting strategic choice that we would attract this money here in order to boost our own economy at the expense of other peoples. This is not a party political issue. It isn't like there's one party that does a good job or one party that doesn't.
