The Importance of Philosophical Education
Philosophy in one or two generations then you see the cultural and political manifestations a generation or two later. If for example believing in life liberty and the pursuit of happiness can't just be formulaic words that we recite without understanding what they mean, nobody's going to fight for those. People who are committed to other moral agendas who are full of them and vigor and fire will win in the in the next generation so it's an ongoing philosophical education.
