COVID-19 - What's the Difference Between Stewardship and Clinical Care?
Aaron Carroll: The point of care testing did result in better stewardship outcomes. But unfortunately, it did fail to meet the non-inferiority margin for clinical care. He says investigators aren't really sure why this is and are trying to find some kind of biological explanation. Carroll: Overall, I thought it was really neat that they had the way with having nurses do this at bedside.
