It can be used with promises and it's just syntactic sugar as we like to say Just nice nice syntax built on top of the existing promise api. I am urging everyone to just drop those and start using native promises, because you don't have to have specific buy-in from a framework. These are just built into the browsers,. And many of the new browserapi's being built right now are all built on top of native promises.
