I think the biggest tell-tale is what happens when we meet those names of success, because the perfectionist will be relieved. They'll be able to see that the effort they put in was met with praise and maybe even a pay rise. And as a consequence, they can almost drink that in, enjoy it, and really feel the satisfaction from that accomplishment.
