Stocks Reacting More Positively to Negative News
How much pessimism is reflected in stocks right now? How much of potential earnings revisions to the downside is reflected in the us Market. Micron reacted initially very poorly to a very big guidance straw down, but has since traded about 15 % higher from before the earnings report. So that's a good, good sign of stocks reacting more positively to negative news. And then we had some positive news out of semi last night, for example. There are some positive stories as well.
