The Fed's Communication Is Helping Nothing
Wojciechowski: Who has that much money? Like, no, like, the rich guys. Why would they have that much money in a checking account? How dumb are these people? I'm guessing because they were givenspecial extra extra extra special treatment by SBB from leaving so much money there. Billions of dollars. Those should be in CDs, am I right? Because it can't be venture funds because they call capital and then they deploy. So, this has to be businesses or individuals. If these people are super prime, what is the credit worthiness of the Fed? Ultra prime?Because guess what? What if the Fed has to bail themselves out?
