The Relationship Between Estradiol and Testosterone Levels
Testosterone is cyclical, but men are more responsive to their social environment. Getting married or having children sees a longer-term dip in testosterone. On the other hand, seeing someone they are attracted to can lead to rises in testosterone. It's just like a very capricious hormone, and so why isn't it bludgeoned to death instead?
