Snyder: The transformational map is a simple kind of mad lib version of a character arc that I kind of tell people to come up with before they start writing their script. So it really just spells out what the character was like before the movie started and how you want them to finish at the end. "I feel like if you can draw that bridge from the beginning of the movie stasis equals death," Snyder says.
