There are unintended consequences, even when you set up these people that are in fact mentally ill. I'm gonna tell you this story real quickly because a lot of it is from personal knowledge. It tells the story of a guy who at 15 years old got rolled up with some wannabe Syrian separatists and he wanted to go join ICE living in Saudi Arabia. He ended up dealing with being convicted of a terrorist plot. They came after him and were able to get him to basically believe that he was going to shoot down military jets and blow up Jewish synagogues through this sort of Islamic push.
