What's Happening in Washington?
There was a usefully symbolic split screen happening on Wednesday where the president Joe Biden and Mitch McConnell were meeting in Kentucky to celebrate infrastructure spending. So it was a nice kind of juxtaposition of the two different ways of doing things in Washington. Matt Gaetz that, but also kind of creepy that Matt Gaetz wants his own subcommittee on the armed services on the house armed services. Jim Jordan is going to get to chair the house judiciary committee and convene all kinds of nutty, nutty investigations of Hunter Biden and who knows who else. Now they were going to continue to make spectacle for months to come.
