How to Decide on Units for Your Class
The first step is to decide on your units. What does that look like for you? So i'm the units that you are teaching in your class. And it might be something that's dictated to you by a state or a district mandated curriculum. In one of the classes i teach, which is freshman world history a, we have all of human history to choose from - so there's actually a lot of decisions to make. I think probably most teachers do operate with a list of units that they know they need to teach that year. But i think it's also possible some people might go in to the school year only knowing their first two or three units a deciding to figure out the rest
