Contraception - A Concise History
Historically speaking, the most popular methods of contraception have been abstinence or withdrawal. In ancient Egypt, there's evidence that people used crocodile dung mixed with honey as a barrier method. Dr Donna Drucker is Assistant Director of Scholarship and Research Development for the School of Nursing at Columbia University. She says we shouldn't be relying on the moon for accurate information about our periods.
