Change the Environment to Fit the Person

In biology, niche construction is the process by which an organism alters the environment to help increase its chance of survival. Why must humans always adapt to fit the environment they find themselves in? More than other animals, we are uniquely suited to construct ing or finding environments that better suit our needs when it comes to physical disabilities. We build ramps for wheel chairs, create accessible rest rooms, use sign language and print books ind bral. But for some reason, we're less likely to think about environmental changes when it come to mental disabilities. I don't know why. Let's talk about this might work.
