The Wedding Garment Is a Symbol of Baptism
The Pharisees and scribes refused to listen to the preaching of John. They were refusing to listen to Jesus who's saying the kingdom is here. And then what do they do? They bring in everybody. Why would you expect this person to have a wedding garment on? The wedding garment is a symbol, right? It says the wedding garment represents the dispositions necessary for admission to the kingdom.
