An increasing amount of our society identifies with this. We have 25-year-old loners at a scale and pace that we've never had before. Even in psychiatry we call this failure to launch. So here's the pattern of someone who fails to launch. Seems normal to other people but always feels alone inside. And secret lifelong pornography addiction. The 25-year old loner. They worked hard at but just not good enough to be a professional. Doesn't really care where their life is going anymore.
