The first emotion is really envy and then it mutates into something else but the starting point of this all is envy. So with envy it becomes the secret desire to hurt, wound or steal from the envy person. The whole reason we want to write the unfairness that comes from his or her supposed superiority. And before you know it because of the underlying envy they act rationally against you.
