Dostoevsky was tied to a post and about to be shot. A guy came on a horse drawn buggy carrying a letter, the Zar commuted their sentence at the last minute. The argument is that the Zar did it on purpose like this to kind of reassert his power. He ended up doing 10 years hard time and got put in military and he ended up in Siberia. So then I've been rethinking Dostoevky's, you know, I've beenRebecca: You can regain this naive faith and you can embrace life. But Athenians said something about Nietzsche having like an esoteric teaching.
