People who speak languages that require you to use cardinal directions, for example, do keep track of which way they're facing because you have to speak the language. What about people whose brains are not completely functional? Does that affect how they perceive these things? We had a chance to test this looking at patients who've had strokes. And so we wondered, does this also extend to time? So how concretely is time really on the left or the right?
