African American Replaced Negro

The word Negro refers to black. But so does, but so does black. That is also the point that he makes the word black refers to the Chris. Some Americans don't like to be called African Americans because some people feel like they were here before the slave ships bought black people from Africa. Caribbean's hate being called black. They want to be called Jamaican or Asian. We're conflating two things: nationality and race.
