The two things that I think about a lot one is why people love a particular brand. And they have different stickiness associated with each. One of my most fascinating projects actually at Bain was we were looking at this brand that shall be named Nameless. You just develop these mental models over time, some data driven, very quantitative data driven, and some more qualitative behavior and brand building models.
