The Court Set Conditions of Release for the Former President
The former president and his counsel, as well as all of the public had access to the indictments language last Friday. The first thing that his counsel did on his behalf, he did not speak. Even in a case where the government is not asking for pretrial detention, there are often many standard conditions of release. And so far, everything I have seen is the government bending over backwards to treat him frankly, not just fairly, but some would say more favorably than other defendants in similar situations.
