Heart Failure With Mildly Reduced Ejection Fraction
The new concept out in the guidelines in 2021 is that we have replaced this term mid-range ejection fraction to heart failure, mildly reduced ejection fraction. And I think we now have very significant evidence to state that those patients behave quite differently from the patients with half ref or EEF less than 40%. Now there is one class of medicine at the moment that hasn't made it into the 2020 ESC guidelines but is being reviewed for possible inclusion. But you will know that HEF ref and ESE refs have very strong data on their systolic dysfunction.
