Kai: bitcoin has been around since i think 2009 and the original purpose of bitcoin was to be a peer-to-peer payment network. But as it gained adoption its fees started to go up at certain periods and didn't really work as a Peer-to-Peer network, says kai. There were some people who just like loved bitcoin so much they moved over to the ethereum world and started developing on top of it, he adds.
