The Last Words of Christ on the Cross Are, Lord Jesus Received My Spirit
In the book of Acts, Stephen is put on trial for proclaiming Jesus Christ's death and resurrection. He was accused of denying the Torah and Moses and rejecting the temple. The words that are attributed to Stephen at the end of his life right before he dies sounds just like what Jesus does in the Gospel of Luke. And so he's a model of what it means to be a martyr in Greek a witness.
