The Buddha's Promise of Fearlessness Based on Freedom
Buddhism has a promise of fearlessness based on freedom. The Buddha says, just as the ocean has but one taste, the taste of salt. So my teaching has the taste of freedom. If you've got any so-called Buddhist practice and you're not feeling free as a result of engaging with that practice or free-ear, it's not a Buddhist practice. At least your manifestation of it isn't.
