When we create meaning making systems, we do this unconsciously most of the time. We're sort of like adding to our encyclopedic knowledge of like things. Your many interests make you interesting, and they also help you understand the world in a more robust way. Reducing ourselves down to just a couple of words on social media or like a niche is so harmful because it doesn't give us space to say 'Here's all my life experience that's added up to me feeling the way that i feel' That at soimportant, especially if we want to have compassion for each other,. especially if we Want to change people's minds, we need to show our humanity and see other people
