There's been a ton of rhetoric regarding Taiwan in both Beijing and Washington. Despite all that tension, I do not believe China is going to initiate an attack on Taiwan in 2023 or anytime soon after that. attacking Taiwan and losing would probably be the end of the road for any Chinese leader. Focus on deterrence. It means building our military at an aggressive pace who would be willing to stand up to aggression against Taiwan.
