How to Tell if a Plant Is Dead or Not

The best place to look for clues to how healthy your plant is and whether it can be brought back to life or not is definitely in the pot at the roots. If all the roots are mushy or brittle and easily snap off then the plant is dead but if there are some healthy roots then the dead ones can be cut off and the plant may survive. Even if the roots are dead you can still save part of the plant by propagating the green part so the plant as it is might die but propagating it a part of it lives on.
