Do We Need All the Connections?
The promise of the internet in the 90s and early aughts was that it would bring people closer together. Why is it such a mess right now? I think we may have made a really simple mistake, which is to assume that those connections were going to accomplish that connectivity. That's where we made the error. What you really want is you want a few and you want some connections that you haven't previously had.
