The Ear and the Eye Make Their Own Abstractions
Human culture involves a lot of activity that can be explicitly captured in these linguistic forms. If the eye and the ear can do their own abstractions, there's symbolism in there,. from the ground up, presentational symbolism. And stas you pointed out, this has going to become a basis for thinking about art and religion and ritual which are symbolic. But they're not going to turn out to be meaningless on her account, because they are going to be symbolic. They're gong to be a different kind of symbolism than what we've been discussing.
