How Far Away Are We From Sustainable Energy Sources?
Experts tell us that to get on a climate pathway that contains temperatures to about one and a half degrees s we've got to contain carbon in the next eight years. That's a tall order, but the grid has to act. Buildings have to be electrified, and the transportation system must be electrified as well. The battery technology, it doesn't exist. And so unless plan for the starship enterprise to deliver some sort of new generating technology to us in the next 20 years, it's just not going to happen. This is just simply high in the sky, unrealistic thinking wor magical thing.
