Florentino aspiaga lombard was the cuban intelligence chief in pragcacsovacia. Lombard and his young lady were on the run, wanted a new life for themselves in america. The only language we had in common was russian. My first thought was, of course, can we turn him back? Can we recruit him as an inplace source? Because he would be even more valuable there. But it was very clear that he had burned his bridges. That was not an option.
