Podcasts on Spotify - What's the Benefit?
John Spherlop and Oscar Obeidallah have put together a structure to make podcast activity public. They say it could be used by any third party app developer who wants to aggregate that data into an aggregated view of the industry. The only place they can get this information is Spotify or potentially Apple, but certainly Spotify.
