It's your only ever as good as your own best thinking, the end. You can't take somebody else's brain and put it in your body. To continue thinking about a situation that has gone wrong is an exercise in self-flagellation. So you're using it to practice feeling bad about yourself. It's actually a ruse. Instead of practice a new way of being, which takes a lot more energy.
