The Benefits of Remote Work
I think that, you know, is it just, it's sort of human nature to be hated by the right and the left. I was thinking of like a world where instead of getting an alternative, we invented this transporting tube in science fiction. That wouldn't be as good as Netflix, but people would still be grateful for that. And they would see that as a great innovation. It doesn't feel like progress; it feels like, oh, just more convenience. Like all these other things are actually true for us - if anything, the criticism is less correlation than causation. We're not going to get rid of technology without some kind of change in atoms.
