Introduction
Xi Jinping has two words of advice for unemployed Gen Z and millennials. True Ku literally translates as eat bitterness, a phrase that became popular in the 1960s during Mao Zedong's cultural revolution. The issue for nearly 12 million Chinese college graduates is whether their degrees are worth the time and money they've spent years studying to achieve. This highly educated new generation is just not interested in working the same way their parents or grandparents did.
