"I used to be quite afraid of the dark, as you probably remember, dad. And very much a there's a monster under my bed kind of person," he says. "So I started to do this on how I was when I was 11 or 12 years old." He asks people if they are grounded in material reality but have a slippery relationship with real reality. When faced with an image that brings up fear and terror, can you allow yourself to make room for that possibility? You'd still be here after the terror passes through, he says.
