When i was writing out what my values were, i know that the higher values were that i want to do my best work. But then i can start to get analytical. Why do you want to do your best work? Well, because i was humiliated when i was younger for doing such shoddy work. And so there was also a positive motivation as, when i grow up, could i do good work like my neighbors who write the television shows do? So there was there was the honesty of both.
