The President's Motion to Dismiss on Jurisdictional Grounds
President Trump's team is going to file a motion to dismiss on jurisdictional grounds because of his status at the time. There is an open question in terms of whether you can prosecute a sitting president for acts committed during presidency, when are those acts outside the scope of his office, etc. That is something that probably needs to be adjudicated at some point, maybe even upfront in this case.
