The Advantages and Disadvantages of Deep Extubation
The benefit of deep extubation is so much more than the risk of you know having an airway event or any problems I would say just make sure you have you are equipped with how are you going to handle this child if you deep excavate and they suddenly stop breathing. Sometimes you could titrate in some dexmenetomidine the beginning in the middle at the end of the case before you extubate a patient. It really helps with emergence delirium it really helps with a nice extubation.
